New Recipe: Rosemary Roasted Almonds

A delicious snack that infuses the room of rosemary instantly upon putting them in the oven. A healthy choice for work, school, or on the road.

1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon chili powder
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
Dash of ground red pepper
2 cups of whole almonds

1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees
2. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly toasted.

Oh Bridgett!, I absolutely LOVE the mixer set! Can’t wait to see them in the shop! We have enjoyed a few days of nice weather, but unfortunately the cold temps are returning. I can’t wait for when spring is here to stay!

Re-branding package

A strong brand and logo is what sets you apart from the rest. No one knows this more than Tara, blogger and designer for Scoutie Girl. She asked me to re-design her logo and brand to give her blog a mini face lift. I was excited yet nervous to take on this project, I mean designing for a designer? That’s no easy task but I took it on and voila! A fun, flirty, spring-like look for Scoutie Girl. The package includes: a logo, 2 different size blog banners, a blog side header, and business cards. The design is versatile enough that when the seasons change, so can the colors but the foundation has been laid. Thank you so much Tara for letting me work with you. Enjoy your new look!

Welcome to my new blog!

I was beyond thrilled when Tara, from Scoutie Girl, agreed to work with me on my new blog design. I know that I tinkered with the old one but I was limited to my capabilities and so I decided to work with a professional. Tara was such a peach to work with. She was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and went far beyond my expectations. I would pimp her out in a heart beat! Together we came up with a design that suited my taste to a T: clean, simple, and uncluttered. I am so ecstatic with the new look! I hope you are too.

Because so many changes are happening, getting a new website and now a new blog I feel like I’m starting with a clean slate. And with that will come new posts and ideas. So I thought of offering a giveaway of $50 to anything currently available in my shop to celebrate. That’s right, anything! Just leave a comment and you’re automatically entered to win! Custom Butterfly Birthday Invitations


I have been getting a lot of requests for custom designs from birthday invitations to moving announcements. It’s really fun working with clients to bring their vision to reality. Going out tomorrow is this birthday party package for a soon-to-be 2 year old little girl. The mom gave me full reign in terms of design but wanted a package with a butterfly and bright vibrant colors. So I digitally drew the butterfly and styled the invitation, thank you cards, and gift tags around it. These definitely got me in the mood for warmer weather, trips to the park, and more daylight.

And good news, these invitations will make it into our new website coming soon!
