It’s still to be determined but the estimated date of closure is May 1st.

So take this opportunity to stock up on goodies with the code: TYLER34 (since I’m 34 weeks along) :}.

Coupon is valid from today thru Friday and cannot be combined with any other offers.

Easter with the Edwards’

Holidays and family have become so much more important as I’ve gotten older and have a child of my own. Spending the day with friends and family is what it’s all about it. Right now I’m typing this as my 4 year old is passed out on the couch exhausted from playing with her “cousins” and my husband taking a break from cleaning up. (One perk of being 8 months pregnant and throwing a dinner party – you get to skimp on clean up duty) :}

But what I’m getting at is family, whether the same blood runs through your body or not, will always be there and there is no other people in the world you should share holidays with. My house is a mess from kids running through it, the kitchen is a mess from filling bellies but my heart is beyond full of joy and love I could ever imagine. And I wouldn’t change.a.thing.

I was too immersed in my family today to get pictures of everyone but just picture the cutest little girls playing in Easter dresses and one dapper little dude holding his own. Imagine adults talking over wine (or lemonade) about their lives and what lies in the future. The sun is shining and everyone is happy as a clam.

That’s what today was like for me and I hope the same for you.

However…I did manage to catch some photos of the setup along with my little helper. Those dimples melt my heart!
The Adult’s Table
The Kids Table

Happy Easter from our family to yours!

Baseball or football theme…or choo-choo train.

Heidi Drake - April 2, 2012 - 10:15 am

i would say a beach theme would be fun!

Jocelyn Heyward - April 2, 2012 - 10:30 am

I am doing a Rock Star theme party for my son, and a tiara and bow tie party for my niece.

Elena Chang - April 2, 2012 - 10:32 am

A circus theme would be great! Love your stuff!

Leslie Mingo - April 2, 2012 - 11:03 am

I can’t decide between two themes. Both seem great for a summer party. A pirate them or circus them! A circus them though may be better for your business because it seems unisex.

Allison - April 2, 2012 - 11:08 am

I think a barnyard theme would be suitable for boys OR girls… cows, pigs, sheep, and such. I could see sweet little tables set up with hay bales as benches, and there could be fun activities depending on the time of year (hayrides and pumpkin carving in the fall, planting flowers/veggies and petting zoo in the spring). I adore your designs, Bridgett! Can’t wait to see what you choose!

Christine S. - April 2, 2012 - 11:17 am

Amusement park would be awesome for an older child’s summer birthday… maybe a ferris wheel graphic.

Petra Stenta - April 2, 2012 - 11:47 am

How about a Sweet Treats Theme Party — “Sweets for my Sweet.”

Natalie Mann - April 2, 2012 - 11:52 am

What about a “Sweet and Sassy” party? Dress-up/Make-up party for little girls. Cute nail polish as a graphic.

Bee - April 2, 2012 - 12:05 pm

I’m thinking ahead for those who Picnic on the 4th of July!

Erica Ritter - April 2, 2012 - 12:07 pm

I would love to see a vintage Airplane theme! We did my baby boy’s baby shower in that theme & we’re doing his 1st birthday party in July w/ that theme! His great grandfather flew war planes in WWII & it’s been a fun way to honor him :)

Royce - April 2, 2012 - 12:16 pm

Rubber ducky theme

SAMANTHA SENA - April 2, 2012 - 12:16 pm

I totally agree with the Barn Yard Animal Theme! My 4 year old son loves animals of all sort. He would love any animal themed party. I love your products, so classy and cute.

Sheree - April 2, 2012 - 12:31 pm

I would love to see a ballerina theme! G, will be turning 4 in June and she LOVES taking ballet and tap class.

B.T.W. The Barbie in Paris theme is absolutely genius!

Florence - April 2, 2012 - 12:34 pm

Hi,
I would love to see a Monkey theme. It would go great with the other Monkey products you already carry.

Sock Monkey parties are very popular right now. I just happen to be planning one for June!

Tara - April 2, 2012 - 1:29 pm

Two suggestions (my daughters birthdays are six months apart):
1. Spring – think flower blossoms, bunnies, and eggs. We’re doing an egg hunt for my daughter’s birthday this weekend.
2. Pumpkin – this is perfect for an Autumn birthday! My little pumpkin adored her last birthday theme.

Donna O'Neil - April 2, 2012 - 1:35 pm

A fairy themed party would be great.

Vintage hot air ballon or gingerbread decorating birthday party!! Xoxo

Tracy - April 2, 2012 - 2:18 pm

Knights in the Castle for boys would be lovely to see as a party set. It seems a lot of castle themes are for princesses. My little knight would sure love to see some jousting taking place in a castle courtyard with armor and crests lining the walls.
Your clean designs are lovely!
All the best!

Marilynn - April 2, 2012 - 3:17 pm

- Rainbow

Love all the designs and so happy you are doing party / candy buffet stuff! xxx Sophie

Nicole M. - April 3, 2012 - 11:21 am

How about Pirates? Superheroes? Racecars? Can you tell we have a few little boys running around our house?!

Nikki - April 5, 2012 - 12:51 am

In honor of your little Tyler coming and my two princes, I definitely would love to see more little boy themes…so hard to find cute yet “masculine” designs for the little ones…snails, pails, puppy dog tails, etc to go along with the rhyme. But in my house, locomotives and trendy transportation reign…trains, cars, planes…Can’t wait to see!

Denee' - April 5, 2012 - 10:53 pm

Hmmm…. you have such cute ones already, but how about a ‘bumble bee’ theme? soft colors for girls and deep colors for boys. Simple, yet crisp.
Thanks for the chance to win something so amazing!

Julie Padilla - April 6, 2012 - 9:24 am

Aquarium/ fishy theme

Nicolette - April 6, 2012 - 9:26 am

I’m planing a fairy/dress-up party for this summer and would love to see a package with a similar theme. My three year old loves to dress up!

Rosaura - April 6, 2012 - 10:33 am

I would love an ABC theme for my triplets 1st birthday party :) using primary colors.

Megan - April 6, 2012 - 12:03 pm

Here are some fun themes that I thought of… The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Dr. Seuss, Over in the Ocean, and Firefighters. I love theming my son’s birthday parties after books that he loves. :)

Delilah - April 8, 2012 - 9:25 am

How about a “you are my sunshine” theme?
I am currently planning for my 3 year old’s birthday!
Beautiful yellow theme with: yellow fruit , cupcakes and even sun cake pops!

April Goals

Once again, another month has come and gone. Is 2012 moving along way too fast or is just me?

In reviewing my goals for March, I completed about 50% of what I set out to do. We hosted our VBAC class and I now have renewed energy to give birth to Tyler and grow our family. Our instructor was empowering and gave us so much information that I’m very confident in our decisions. In fact, I’m really really excited to meet him! Soon, very soon!

I’ve also put a dent into my new baby collection which I CANNOT WAIT to launch. Did you see the sneak preview? I also have a new launch coming tomorrow. Creativity is flowing over here folks!

We have our co-sleeper now and almost sold our furniture but thanks to sound advice from my dad, didn’t go through with it as it was a scam. A little PSA: if you ever get an email like this, run the other way! I’m so happy I did!.

But with all of the chaos of March, I’m taking a different approach to April. I’ve written out 11 habits I want to change and each month I want to focus solely on one. The best way to instill a new habit is to focus completely on it. For April, I want to work on disconnecting. I’m guilty of checking Facebook, Twitter AND my email every 5 minutes. In between completing tasks, waiting in line or even while hanging out with Kendall I’ll check to see if anyone has commented on a post, tweet, etc.

That is not the life I want to live.

Slowly I have been limiting my time on social media and email and already I’m seeing a difference; I’m calmer, able to focus and get more done. So I’ll continue working on limiting my daily social time in hopes to get our home ready for Tyler and enjoy time with my precious little family.

What are you going to work on this month?

I am so glad I stumbled upon your site. You have given me a challenge – to come up with goals for the month of April (going to start little). Thanks for your post today!

Moxie Lisa - April 3, 2012 - 9:54 am

This month I am also taking on quite a bit to expand my business. This is always a scary but exciting thing.
