Michelle, a dear friend of mine and mom of Analise wanted nothing more than a girly pink sweet pea themed first birthday party. So we tweaked my Preppy Frog design to match her fun and whimsical idea.
Michelle wanted to incorporate the design in all parts of the party including buffet cards and custom water bottle labels.
A banner is a must for all parties. I love all the ideas and details Michelle thought of! Thanks Michelle for letting me be a part of Analise’s special day!
Wow! It feels like yesterday I was writing my letter to you, on your first day of kindergarten. The old saying really is true, time goes by much faster when you have kids. You have grown into such a little lady. You’ve learned to read chapter books, mastered the basic multiplication chart and so much more! Some days I stare at you and can’t believe how lucky I am to be your mom. I see how people just gravitate towards you. Your personality is uplifting and warming. As you grow, hold onto that. And hold tightly onto your eagerness to learn. It will surely take you far.
School’s out now…so let’s enjoy the summer!!!
The preppy frog is one of my favorite designs to date! I love the playfulness and innocence of it all. The bright and cheery colors just complete the design. I love it so much that I’ve decided to offer it on our dinnerware collection…for a limited time only AND at a low price! The plates and bowls, separately are only $20 and the set is $38.
So snatch these up before they’re gone!
I chose a doxie because it’s a classic children’s toy. There will always some version of this pull dog around, and when I saw Tyler and Kendall playing with theirs, a lightbulb went off. This is a toy that grows with kids from itty bitty babies to school-aged children. And those are the age brackets I want to target. Then I went perusing the web for a color palette that was distinct from Perideau Designs and was a blend of vintage, classic, simple and modern. The orange sorbet and gold are my main colors with the graphite included for those hard to read areas.
Then came the fun part of designing the elements for my blog. I wanted it to be clean and easy on the eyes. Which is why the pattern will be used in my collateral, which is still a work in progress.
But there you have it, the behind-the-scenes to the new BEC.
