I’m knee deep in planning Tyler’s first birthday party and came across a tweet about gorgeous party utensils. I was curious so clicked on the picture and fell in love. These customized utensils are absolutely adorable! Brooke, the owner, takes trendy designs and embellishes wooden utensils to match any theme from weddings to parties. You know I’ll be ordering some for Tyler’s party!
I’m a big fan of learning about the people behind the shop so I asked Brooke to share a little with us and here is what she had to say:
“I started printing wooden utensils in Spring, 2011, just as a fun little project for my craft blog. I was immediately hooked and woke up early and stayed up late playing with patterns and color combinations. It was really amazing how quickly they began showing up on other blogs and Pinterest, and we began to get requests from magazines to be included. It was just one of things that fell amazingly into place! Sucre Shop has grown from a one-woman operation to 7 people to help with production, packaging and shipping, and media. We’re currently carried in about 80 stores Nationally and Internationally, and have been featured in a big handful of my favorite magazines and blogs, which keeps things very exciting. But, I still love to connect with people, and custom make products, so we are still selling on Etsy, and I answer those conversations personally. I hope you’ll check us out!”
