Vegan Easter Egg Cakes

I bought my first cupcake decorating book. And boy, how did I not get one earlier?! I have nearly the entire thing bookmarked on projects I want to tackle, but when I came across their Easter egg cake I immediately knew it needed to be added to my Easter collection photo shoot.

It was a good first fondant project to tackle. I simply purchased Wilton’s egg mold and made my favorite vegan chocolate cupcake batter and poured them into the mold. Once completely cooled, I used the hot pink pre-rolled fondant and covered the egg and cut the excess off with a paring knife. The dots and writing are simply white icing.

Easy peasy!
