Dear Tyler,
I don’t remember our lives without you in it. You are so laid back and such a sweet happy baby. I know most parents say that about their children, but it’s true. You only fuss a little when you’re hungry or tired. We figured out quickly that you and milk don’t agree. But that was to be expected seeing as your sister has many food allergies.
You love to play in your exersaucer and swing. You just laugh those cutest belly laughs. And those cheeks! I’m kissing them all of the time because I know when you are 8 you’ll be too embarrassed for me to do that in public. So I’ll soak it up now. You also love tummy time. You and your sister both. You’ve rolled over a few times but mostly you chew on your burp cloth, probably because you are teething. We got you a teething necklace that’s helped a lot. You also love chewing on anything that you can get those little fingers on, including mama…and I’m not talking about my fingers. At least once a day I’m saying “No biting Tyler.” But you look at me and smile so wide I can’t help but to smile back.
Your 4 month pediatriciam appointment is not for another 2 weeks but I think you weigh about 18 pounds. You’re already in 6-9 month clothes and we’re already in the process of switching you out of the infant car seat. You really need to stop growing so fast! I make sure I’m not working while you’re awake and only when I have you wrapped on me but time still is flying by.
I’m holding onto these precious moments tightly.
Love you more,
Mom
