Can you believe it’s almost time for kids to go back to school? Some of you may be happy to get a solid chunk of uninterrupted time back and others might be sad to see your baby go to their first day of kindergarten. (Yes that will be me next year, eek!)
Although, going back to school can fun and exciting it can also be nerve racking; What will I wear? Where do I sit during lunch? Not to mention a trillion other things to worry about. And let’s not forget about moms (and dads) too! They worry about their child fitting in and getting a good education.
Let’s say you’re in school on your first day of school and you get lost going to second period or someone didn’t share their crayons during art time. You become sad, frustrated and ready to go home. But once lunch time rolls around and you see an unexpected note from mom with some words of encouragement, you know everything will be OK. It’s like having a piece of home with you.
