Chalkboard Paint

I’ve become slightly obsessed with chalkboard paint. My Do It Yourself magazine came a couple of weeks ago and they had a tutorial on magnetizing a mirror then painting with chalkboard paint. So I painted a mirror we were going to donate with spray chalkboard paint and then went crazy on anything and everything I could find around the house: some old mason jars lying around and even paper! Perfect for the 3 birthday parties Kendall has to attend.

They make cute little gift tags, right?

Great ideas! I’m looking into chalkboard paint myself for my son’s bedroom wall but there are so many great ideas I want to try. I’ll let you know if I try it out!

I absolutely love chalkboard paint. I also love Mason jars so the two combined makes me smile!

That’s a fab idea and so much fun for the kids. Now I’m wondering where I can get my hands on some……!

Hi Stacey!

You can purchase it at a local craft or home improvement store. I used spray as it was easier and quicker to apply. I think it dries faster too.

Hope that helps and let me know how you use it!

Please do! One of these days I’ll paint a wall in chalkboard paint. Did you know you can add regular paint for different colors?
