Delicious doesn’t even begin to describe these donuts! I came across the recipe from a tweet from a dear friend Sam over at Inklore. When I clicked over to honey & jam’s blog and saw the ingredients, I knew I could substitue a few things so Kendall could enjoy them. I used vegan butter, egg substitute and soy milk. During the first try I used rice milk but it’s too thin for this recipe so we swapped it out for soy milk. And they came out perfectly! We actually did a little happy dance while they were baking.
Now I’m on the hunt for another recipe we can tweak. Any ideas?
