Well hello there! It’s been awhile since we’ve chatted but I promise it’s for good reason. I’ve been taking some time to relax and gear up for lots of fun stuff I have in store for you like my first wholesale order! It was the perfect way to begin the long weekend that was packed with birthday parties, friends and yummy homemade popsicles.

So I wanted to start the week just as strong as I ended the last one with a new and one of my favorite designs. One of my customers requested a whale silhouette for our favor bags and it’s been on my mind for awhile to add to the shop so I jumped on the chance. I loved the design so much that I decided to create a complete set.

The invitation stayed within my design style of simple, bold and sophisticated. Which then carried seamlessly throughout the rest of the set that includes gift tags, favor bags and thank you cards. You can also purchase the design in an art print or placemat.

I teamed up with the lovely team over at Pink Cake Box to put my whale silhouette on one of their delicious cookies. I wanted to show you how a design can easily be used across all mediums to bring a party design together. It’s important to set the tone for any party whether it’s a casual children’s birthday or a formal anniversary affair with the invitation. Then take an element from that design and tie it all together. But I’ll go more into that later this week with a special guest post!
