I clean out and purge my “office” occasionally putting away items I purchased that I really don’t need at the time. But there are a few that I always keep and use as a source of inspiration or to make my packaging extra pretty. I thought I’d share a few with you today.

1. Must have pretty twine lying around. A perfect way to dress up packaging.

2. This tape really does make me happy. I wrap gifts with it all the time

3. Wrapping paper cutter which really does make the job much easier. With the flat bottom you simply slide it along the paper as it’s lying on a flat surface.
::Purchased from Target::
4. Clothing pins are another way to dress up packaging. I used the mini ones for my holiday packaging last year.
::Mini clothespins purchased from Nice Package (no longer in business)::
5. Honestly I just look at these binder clips as I think they’re pretty.
::Purchased from Urbanic::
6. I bought kraft bags for my craft fair last year and have a few leftover that I keep for gift giving and occasional product packaging.

Lovely items you have here, love these too!

i’ve found the mini clothespins work great on gift bags too – helps keep cards from getting lost in the tissue!
I love this collection of bits (and cannot stop thinking about those adorable shots of your little helper -soooo cute).
I’ve been having a blast thinking about the little elements to decorate my journals in my shop, too. My favorite base is kraft paper.
