The New Perideau Designs Website

Perideau Designs WebsiteI am beyond estatic to share with you our brand new website. It showcases my new designs as well as new categories, such as party packs. You can now purchase coordinating invitations, gift tags, and thank you cards all at once. Another highlight is the easy navigation where you can search for a specific product or theme.

This was the biggest obstacle I faced selling on Etsy. I will continue to have my shop open with limited products, but I’ve outgrown it. Going back and forth with customers to get the necessary information to complete orders was time consuming and delaying in some cases. With my new website, the customer can easily choose how many, what color, and provide the necessary information such as custom text all in one simple page.

The team at Aeolidia did such a marvelous job, I couldn’t be more pleased. This 6-month long process was time consuming and difficult at some times but nevertheless worthwhile because Shoshanna, my designer, knows what works and doesn’t. If you ever are in need of a custom blog, website, anything really be sure to contact them.

And because I’m so tickled pink I have 2 gifts for you, that’s right 2 at once!

All items in my new website are 40% off through June 19th with the coupon code: GRANDOPENING. Now you can easily type that during checkout and the discount will automatically go into effect. Another bonus of having my own website!

Happy shopping!
Now that the website is up and running I’m ready to begin adding new products and not just stationery. I have a few in the works now but my business is not about me, it’s about YOU! So I want to know what you want to see offered by Perideau Designs.

In the comment field, let me know what you would like to see and be entered for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to my shop. And another bonus, if you’re product makes it to my shop, you will receive that as well to.

The giveaway is open for comments until Friday June 11th.

And the winner is…

Congratulations Danielle for winning $50 to my new shop.
Send an email to me at bridgett @ perideaudesigns.com to redeem your prize.

bridgett, it looks so great and i so completely understand the whole “outgrowing” etsy thing. as amazing awesome etsy is, it’s not really built to facilitate customization, invitations, color options, etc.

hooray and congrats and BEST OF LUCK! yay!

Beautiful new website!!

Thoughts on products???… I seem to be coming across a lot of people beginning their own business and I think they could use some well-designed logos and business sets. You would be able to understand their needs so well since you’ve have been and are in their shoes. I used to work for a business coaching and consulting firm and the need is definitely out there!

I still use a paper planner, despite the fact that I’m a techie geek. I’ve yet to find the one that’s “just right.” I’m a non-traditional college student who helps take care of an elderly parent (which I sometimes think is even more challenging than raising children). Trying to find a planner that is flexible enough and doesn’t weigh a ton is challenging.

Good luck with the new website!!! You’ll do wonderfully.

Great new website… Love the party pack idea! Product suggestion: a grocery list pad that has sections based upon the sections a grocery store. For example:

PRODUCE

MEAT DEPT

DIARY

ETC

I always try to organize my list by the store’s layout, so having a list with each department listed would be a dream!

Oh, Bridgett! Your site is SO lovely. I couldn’t be more thrilled for you. I have been toying with the idea of having Aeolidia put together a working site for my shop as well. I visit their website at least 3 times a week. lol Seeing your site may have just been the final push I needed to get me onto the next rung of this ladder. I have loved being part of the Etsy community for the past few months, but it’s so much work putting together custom orders. And I’d love for my wholesale clients to be able to order directly from my site. Seeing your beautiful site is SO motivating.

Much success!

xoxo

I love the new site – wow – so professional! Great work. I think it would be fun to expand the Party Pack. Maybe with water bottle labels that people can glue on themselves to water bottles at a party. I just did some of those for my daughter’s first birthday (I can share a photo if you want), wrapped them around water bottles and guests loved them. Easy to host with and a little something guests can take home. And maybe even those little cupcake toppers to match the theme (that you can stick on toothpicks).

Hope that helps! Themed parties are the best…and starting with great stationery is a fabulous way to carry over the theme!!

Congratulations!! The site is beautiful!

What about business cards? I would love to see some beautifully simple business cards!

Congrats Bridgett! We have the personalized menu pad and love it. Use it all the time. The one thing that would make it even better is if maybe it was a little wider and had a column down the side for your shopping list. We currently flip it over and write our list on the back.

Cheers! And happy World Cup!

Love your new website. I will like to see a variation in designs in stationery. Also, anything monogrammed seems to be a big hit these days.

Karley - June 8, 2010 - 8:41 am

I love the new website!! A product I would love to see is banners for parties!

Julie - June 8, 2010 - 5:56 pm

I absolutely LOVE your new website! Congrats! I’m a lover of lists, I honestly never leave home without one. So that would definitely be something that I’d love to see….any type of list that would help to keep me organized!
Cheers and thanks for the chance!

Laurie - June 10, 2010 - 10:45 pm

The site looks awesome, congrats. new product idea: grocery shopping list

Bridgett - June 11, 2010 - 8:20 am

Calendars are a great idea, Elena! Thanks! Can you expand on what exactly you’re looking for?

Bridgett - June 11, 2010 - 8:21 am

Great idea! Yes please share some photos of the labels. You can email it to bridgett @ perideaudesigns.com.

Thanks!

The new site is fantastic! So easy to navigate and clean and modern like your site. Love it!

I adore your art prints and would love to see a modern family tree option. It would be so nice to have a piece of art to celebrate our family history.

Another idea is photo mattes – I’ve seen some with sayings like “Mommy’s girl” or “One years old” but none that are very cute. I’m sure yours would be perfect!

I have a shop on etsy called SnazzySnugglies. I would like to see new products that address small businesses – like personalized thank you cards, invoices, business cards, post it notes, post cards…

brie - June 11, 2010 - 8:45 pm

Bridgett, the new site is just perfect! Very easy to navigate and gorgeous clean design. I think book plates would be a great addition to your collection.

Congrats on the leap forward. :)

I am in aw of your site particularly the fresh look. Would like a shopping list by aisles;)

Tiffany Bordelon-Walsh - June 13, 2010 - 12:27 am

I would like something like the Universal Order Pad . You could call them Prayer Cards or something like that. I believe there is extreme power in writing down your prayers and true desires.
For kids – Tooth Fairy cards, Santa Letter Cards, Prayers to God Cards for the “big” things.
Also, journals would be awesome.
Shopping lists with all the staples already listed on it with check off boxes next to each word and empty lines for specific add ons.
Custom Stickers.
Business Cards/Playdate Info Cards.
Luggage Tags.
DateBooks/Calendars
Notepads.
Return Address Labels.
Quilts from Li’lBumpkin :) hee.

Is that enough?
