No honey that’s not a pimple

Lately Kendall’s new obsession has been the youtube video of the chipettes singing “All the Single Ladies.” She has the ability to find our iPhones, locate the television icon, and search for the video. Not to mention the many crank calls she makes to loving family members during the wee hours of the morning while we are busy getting ready for the day. See the second picture? She can even do it with her eyes closed!

However her curiosity and knowledge is starting to expand from the latest gadget to her body parts. This was our conversation one morning last week while getting her dressed:

KB: Mom, what’s dat? while pointing to my face
Me: That’s mommy’s pimple.
while pointing to her chest she says:
KB: Pimple mommy!!!!
Me: No honey, that’s not a pimple it’s your nipple
KB: NIPPLE! NIPPLE! NIPPLE!

I thought I had awhile before I needed to explain this??

This is hilarious! but growing up children is so filled with moments like this :) I’m not a mom- but was cheif babysitter for my sisters son- he once decided he had to marry me to keep me from leaving his house – they are just too funny! :)

You will be shocked how early you have to explain EVERYTHING. But being extremely forthcoming about all questions means they never worry about asking you more. My girls are 12 and still ask me just about anything – and I mean ANYTHING.
